ABOUT MORGIEE

Hi! I’m Morgiee (Morgan). I’m an artist currently based out of New York City where I live with my fiancé and dog, Basquiat. While nowadays I primarily focus my artwork in both oil and acrylic, I find joy in creating and crafting almost anything with my hands. I’ve loved arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. Whether it was an art class or science project poster board assignment, I’ve always looked forward to any opportunity to create visually. I’ve managed to keep art as a constant in my life, to the point where I don’t feel whole without it.

I’m an engineer by training, and consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, as well as a minor in Studio Art. I've also obtained my Master in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University. When I’m not painting or gallivanting around New York City, I study Business and Public Health as a graduate student at Columbia University.

My work is truly just my best attempt to visually represent what goes on inside of my head (take that however you wish, I promise I wont be offended if you think that I’m a little weird). Thank you so much for visiting my page and supporting my journey and evolution in art.
